Tamil Nadu — where politics is cinema, cinema is politics, and everyone in between has a party with a sunrise logo, a flag, and an ideology that traces itself to the 1940s Dravidian movement. CJP arrived in Tamil Nadu not to understand its politics (no one fully does) but to celebrate the spirit of a people who have always resisted central authority, preserved their language fiercely, and produced more nationally consequential politicians per capita than almost any other state.
Tamil CJP members are not casual quiz-takers. Tamil Nadu's tradition of fierce political engagement — from Periyar to MGR to the Cauvery dispute to anti-NEET protests — has produced citizens who are informed, articulate, and unwilling to be ignored.
