CJPMember.in ("we", "us", or "our") is an independently operated website that provides digital member card and profile services. This privacy policy applies to all users of cjpmember.in and describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information.

02 — Data We Collect
When you create an account or build your member profile, we collect the following data:

03 — Google Sign-In
We offer sign-in via Google OAuth. If you choose this option, Google shares your name and email address with us for the purpose of creating and accessing your account. We do not receive your Google password.
Google's handling of your data during authentication is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
04 — How We Use Your Data
We use your data solely to operate and improve the CJPMember.in service. Specifically, we use it to: create and maintain your account, generate and display your member card and public profile, authenticate you on return visits, and communicate with you if you raise a support request.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party. We do not use your data for advertising or marketing without your explicit consent.
05 — Data Storage
Your data is stored securely in a MongoDB database hosted on cloud infrastructure. Profile images are stored via a cloud storage service. All data in transit is encrypted using HTTPS (TLS).
We retain your data for as long as your account exists. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days of the request.
06 — Public Profile Data
Your public profile page (accessible at cjpmember.in/yourusername) is visible to anyone on the internet. This includes your display name, member number, occupation, city and state, bio, hobbies, profile photo, and social media handles (if provided). Please do not include sensitive personal information in these fields.
07 — Your Rights
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct inaccurate data, request deletion of your account and data, withdraw consent for data processing at any time, and lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.

08 — Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date below. Continued use of the website after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
