Why Are Our Schools Allowing Teachers to Just Read From Books?

As a student, I believe education should be about understanding, not just reading out loud. Unfortunately, a major problem in many schools right now is the lack of properly trained, qualified, and engaging teachers.

Too many classrooms have turned into spaces where teachers simply open the textbook and read it verbatim, without explaining the concepts, answering doubts, or providing real knowledge. When teachers lack proper training or passion for teaching, students are forced to just memorize facts rather than actually learn.

If we want to build a stronger future, we need stricter standards for who is allowed to teach. Schools must focus on hiring well-qualified educators who can truly teach, rather than individuals who just read from a page. Our education system needs to change from passive reading to active learning.
