10 - DEMANDS OF STUDENTS

1 Resignation or dismissal of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

2 Suspend all accountable authorites and officials holding them accountable for alleged failures surrounding the NEET paper leak and the broader examination system.

3 β‚Ή1 crore compensation for the families of NEET aspirants who died by suicide following the examination controversy.

4. A National Aspirant Welfare Fund to support students and families affected by cancelled exams, paper leaks, or recruitment failures.

5. Provide compensation to all protesters who were injured after being allegedly beaten by mobs or police during the CJP protest at Jantar Mantar, and ensure accountability through an independent investigation.

6 Suspend all officials responsible for the alleged administrative and security failures surrounding the peaceful Parliament rally until an independent, impartial inquiry is completed.

7. Establish a policy requiring the immediate suspension of all officials allegedly responsible for administrative failures that lead to paper leaks in all sectors, pending a transparent and independent investigation.

8. Enact strict laws and accountability measures for government officials and media personnel who, through negligence, misconduct, or the deliberate spread of false or misleading information, jeopardize the future of students or undermine the integrity of public examinations.

9. Substantially increase the national education budget to improve educational quality, strengthen examination systems, expand student support, and invest in modern infrastructure and research.

10. End lateral entry appointments in universities for academic and administrative positions unless they follow transparent, merit-based, and publicly accountable recruitment processes.
